THE NEW MENSWEAR EXTRA-ORDINAIRE

She recently just graduated at the at the London College of Fashion..with an MA,she was for me one of the best finds for the graduate fashion week.She is top-notch-statement-wise i give her thumbs up,her menswear was quite interesting compared to what i've being seen on the catwalks of Milan and Paris's menswear ,the tight shorts with touch of fluorescent pink,i absolutely adore that suite,only a man who ia brave enough and yes comfortable with himself would take on the PINK-SUITE.The look overall was sort of school-boyish with a hint of glamour,her collection was very eye-catching and beautifully cut.

50'S FASHION ICONS

One of my all time favourite fashion icons is the one and only Suzy Parker a model/actress then in the 50's, she was arguably one of the most talented red-headed beauties whose elegance re-defined glamour and sophistication.She was one of the a few models in the 50's who paved way to the new era of models today.She was the face and close cofidante of Coco Chanel no-wonder she was world re-nowned bothas a model/actress.She appeared on almost every makeup campaign like Revlon and other advertisements something which was quite un-heard off for an aspiring actress,but Suzy was different ,she had what i call Chutzpah and it was infectious that what made her and set her apart from theothers .As a model she racked in/earned $100,000 per year.

GRADUATE FASHION WEEK

From all the fashion shows i've seen soo far for graduate fashion week were from Ravensbourne not a surprise to be honest, there have been a number of amazingly talented young designers who have been to the University all with very good,strong,innovative ideas .The recurrent theme throughout was concentrating on volumes,exaggerated silhouettes and prints i particularly liked Sarah Benning 's collection she had crocodile-skin type tights adding a different feel to her weaved knitty cut-outs i really loved the collections how refreshing .

JAPANESE VOGUE (HOMMES)

Japanese Vogue am such a huge fan of Japanese Hommes mainly because of the direction and the photo-stories they are weird,mind boggling but in a good way.I just love to see editorials that are not conventional/or conservative like American Vogue which bores me to death,its too conservative and just lame the ideas are not strong or imaginative its just rich people parading weaing expensive clothes going to lavish soirees and and the normal catwalk reports which i think they are just the only thing that makes it the way it is .
